Speech made by Hon. Fola Salami, Member OGHA Ifo II State Constituency, to the people of Ojodu an environs at the Commissioning of Ogun State High Court and Magistrate Complexes
Good day Ladies and Gentlemen, Distinguished Guests, Royal fathers, Community Leaders, and Fellow Citizens of Ifo Constituency II and Ogun State at large.
I am truly honored to stand before you and also join you in the officially commissioning ceremony of the Ogun State High Court and Magistrate Complexes in Ojodu.
- First and foremost, I wish to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Justice (Dr.) Mosunmola Arinola Dipeolu, FICMC, FHNR, the Chief Judge of Ogun State. Your tireless efforts and unwavering commitment have made this important project a reality. Your exemplary leadership in advancing justice in our state is truly commendable.
- Today’s milestone signifies a substantial advancement in our pursuit of justice and equality. The establishment of this court underscores the Government’s commitment to making justice accessible to all Citizens of our dear State, regardless of their locality or their socio-economic background.
- As we gather here, it important to acknowledge the tireless efforts and dedication of the State Judiciary, Our Kabiyesi, the Community Leaders, the Political Leaders, and all Stakeholders who have worked relentlessly over the years to bring this vision to fruition. Your commitments to ensuring conducive and adequate legal practice and justice system is deserving of my utmost appreciation.
- To the people of Isheri-Ojodu and its environs, this court facility is a beacon of hope. You no longer need to travel long distances to seek justice. This facility will provide a platform for conflict resolution, rights protection, and for upholding peace and rule of law.
- As we look to the future, let us unite in our efforts to strengthen our justice system. We must ensure that this court serves as a model of efficiency, transparency, and fairness.
In closing, I want to express my profound gratitude to everyone involved in this project. Your hard work and perseverance have yielded fruits. To the people of Ogun State, I assure you that this court will serve you with integrity and justice.
