Hon. Fola Salami, Member of Ogun State House of Assembly, Ifo II State Constituency yesterday visited flood-prone areas around Akute/Ishashi/Denro which are usually occasioned by the the annual increase in water level due to rain and Oyan dam discharge.

He also took an on-the-spot inspection tour of the popular Oluwakemi bridge under construction which connects Ojodu Abiodun and Akute. Upon completion, it will allow people to move conveniently from Akute to Ojodu Berger.

He was able to see for himself the level of work done and will relate same with the Commissioner of Works, Engr. Ade Akinsanya on how best the construction work can be concluded in earnest.

He also took a visit to Akute Bridge where engineers are already asphalting a section of the road under the bridge.

He ended his tour at Agbado crossing area of Ifo II where he assessed the level of work done by the Nigerian Railway Corporation on the flyover being built to convey people from Ijaiye/Alakuko/Dalemo area of Lagos to Agbado and its environs.

As a legislator, he’s performing one of the oversight functions which the people had elected him for.
