First Year Performance Report of Hon. Fola Salami, Member Representing Ifo II State Constituency at the Ogun State House of Assembly

n his first year in office, Hon. Fola Salami has made significant strides in enhancing educational opportunities for his constituents. He purchased 150 free JAMB forms, easing the financial burden on families and providing students with the chance to further their education.

Additionally, he facilitated and oversaw the construction of 10 blocks of classrooms across the six wards in Ifo II with more still under approval stages, this is done to ensure a better learning environment for students.

Hon. Salami has also focused on improving local infrastructure and utilities. He further facilitated the provision of a 500KVA transformer for use by Purposeful Community Development Association (CDA) in Olambe to improve electricity supply.

Additionally, through personal commitment he provided financial support for the maintenance of the Okearo-Matogbun Road and also lending support to the temporary drainage construction along the Lambe Junction-Akute Road that’s being carried out by the community development committee to address crucial transportation and flooding issues.

He also on personal note have invited the Commissioner for works and Special Adviser Works to his constituency to inspect critical road networks amongst which are Toyin-Giwa junction Road and Ajuwon-Akute, also Akute-Denro-Ojodu Road at various times.

Employment opportunities and skill development have been key areas of Hon. Salami’s agenda especially as it regards Youths. He facilitated three employment opportunities for youth constituents which has served as a contribution to the reduction of unemployment in the area while promising not rest on his shoulders. Additionally, he organized leather work training and empowerment programs for over 15 constituents, whom were completely equiped, this gesture will promote self-reliance and create sustainable income and job security.

Hon. Salami, also facilitated Ogun Care (Ogcares) grants for 14 constituents to help boost their various businesses.

These initiatives, alongside his other efforts, demonstrate his commitment to improving the quality of life for the people of Ifo Constituency II through education, infrastructure, employment, and healthcare enhancements.

Looking ahead, Hon. Fola Salami envisions even greater progress for Ifo Constituency II. Building on the foundation laid during his first year, he aims to further enhance educational facilities, expand infrastructure projects, and create more employment opportunities. With a continued focus on healthcare and skill development, Hon. Salami is dedicated to fostering a vibrant and thriving community. The future holds promise for Ifo Constituency II, as Hon. Salami remains steadfast in his commitment to the welfare and development of his constituents.
